About two months ago I was walking around the lovely city of Brussels, minding my own business. It was a sunny February afternoon. I was on my way home when a strange man, dressed in a trench coat and shiny shoes, rushed by me and accidentally ran into my shoulder. He excused himself. I didn't mind, because he was clearly focussed on getting where he had to go as quickly as possible. I watched him bounce into a few more people. As I turned back around, I saw a little yellow pamphlet on the ground. I picked it up.

It was a pamphlet about a Belgian organisation who supports young artists, whether they paint, make music, dance, perform... When I got back home I looked them up on the Internet. they seemed reliable, so I contacted them. They asked me to send a portfolio, so I sent them my Tumblr page ( [link] ) and my deviantArt page. Now, two months later, they have contacted me saying they want to expose my art on one of their events on the 25th of April in Gent, in a bar called "Decadance". I gladly accepted, of course.

The thing is, if it wasn't for that rushed man in the trench coat and the shiny shoes, I probably never would have seen that little yellow pamphlet. Now that's what I call 'luck'.
